Hi everyone, my name is Jelissa & I come from sunny Singapore,

 where I live with my husband & 2 sons. By day I am a forensic scientist
 & in my spare time I like to take photos, tinkle on the piano, 
read & of course scrapbook!

I started scrapbooking in 2010 as a substitute for scuba diving after 

my eldest son was born, as well as to preserve his precious
 childhood memories.  Soon it became a serious hobby as it
 helped me find balance after a disciplined day at work. 

I'm currently on the Design Team at Green Tara, where I get to
design with beautiful flowers & trims, some of which I have used here.
 I'm so excited to be featured here at Scrap Around the World!

October 2013 Winners, Features & Finalists!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Winners' post!!  I'm sure you have all been waiting with baited breath to see who the Design Team has selected as this month's stand outs!  We received 57 entries & SO MANY of them were REALLY good!!  I know I say it each & every month, but the fact is it is TRUE that the standard of our entries increases monthly.  People are clearly motivated by the prizes & kudos & that is such a wonderful thing!

Voting is something we take very seriously & each & every entry is given due consideration.  Do not be discouraged if you are not featured.  It is no easy feat with such amazing international talent abounding & it is not the main objective of our scrapbooking journeys, just the cherry on top for those who work hard on honing their talents.  We aspire to INSPIRE you to CREATE, enjoy the process & be INVOLVED in our community at Scrap Around the World.
